NIT Trichy BTech Admission and Selection Process
BTech admissions at NIT Trichy is based on JEE Main scores and ranks and JoSAA counselling. The institute’s admission process involves two steps:
Step 1: To begin with, candidates need to register, appear and qualify JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Mains. Clearing this exam is vital for admissions.
Step 2: Only those aspirants who clear JEE Main will be able to appear for JoSAA Counselling. Aspirants can register and attend JoSAA’s (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) seat allotment process.
NIT Trichy BTech Application Process
Besides applying for JEE Main, eligible aspirants are required to register for JoSAA Counselling as well. JoSAA seat allotment and counselling process is conducted for 23 IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology), 23 IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), 20 Other GFTIs (Government funded Technical Institutes) and 31 NITs (National Institutes of Technology).
